You just made me laugh hysterically!!! I can just feel every fiber of your being want to lash out at them! In the first picture they looked so cute and harmless. But then as I read on, I felt annoyed by them. Good luck with the pests! We have a woodpecker who has claimed our house as his territory. He wakes us up very early and I am scared to know what is happening to our house. But, legally, we cannot harm him!
Cute and harmless? We have a hummingbird nesting in our tree, that is cute and harmless. These guys are monsters that make a grown woman cry. I would go to jail if it was against the law to kill them. I will get them...it is only a matter of time.
My sister's FIL (in Oregon) uses his back yard squirrels as morning target practice while he shaves. Does your DH have a gun? J/K . . .not really! So so sorry you're having to deal with them. Maybe you need to look into a green house from Costco. . . it might be worth the price to save you from the constant vermin headaches!
